AP Self-Sealing SMB

The AP Self-Sealing SMB (SMBC) is the original and highly acclaimed surface marker buoy, widely copied but never improved. It features a unique self-sealing duckbill valve that automatically seals shut upon inflation, trapping air inside to ensure the buoy remains fully inflated on the surface. This guarantees maximum visibility for the surface crew and allows the diver to easily maintain position and signal the boat. Designed for ultimate versatility, it can be deployed underwater as a delayed SMB or inflated at the start of a dive to be towed. The streamlined design eliminates drag in currents, while its compact rolled size allows it to be easily stowed in a pocket or clipped to a D-ring. This is an essential safety tool for demanding divers worldwide.
