PowerCom 5000S – 8-Channel Wireless Surface Communication Station, 35 W

The PowerCom 5000S is a professional wireless surface communication station designed for demanding diving operations and communication with multiple divers. It operates with OTS wireless communication systems and provides a range of up to 5000 m under suitable conditions. The station features 8 channels and 35 W PEP acoustic output power. It includes a Scrambler mode for more discreet and secure wireless communication, a protective transducer cage, a rugged housing with a removable lid and an IP66-rated handheld microphone. Channel 7 features a low-power mode that reduces transmission power to 10 W, making it particularly suitable for pool training where high-powered signals can cause unwanted acoustic echoes. The system includes two rechargeable lithium-ion battery packs, a charger and a custom OTS backpack for transporting the station and up to four diver units.
